I create tunes or sometimes whole songs because they mean something to someone I love or it may be related to some occurrence in life or in history that grabs my imagination. Occasionally the tunes are simply an out-growth of tinkering with my keyboards rhythm section that inspires me to add some notes to it and in time, a song gets born. The next problem, of course is, what does the tune say to me? What is it's name? What mental picture does it paint for me? I can never answer that until I'm pleased with the resulting song. Then I'll send it to you, right here!

The Ghost of the Brora
Brigade: dedicated to Scotlands independence some day.
These original songs are instrumentals only.
Bueno: just a simple thank you to all of you.
Verano: picture a quiet Summers day in Mexico.
Bill's First Tango: In 1975, before we married, on our first dance together, I dragged Bill onto the dance floor and taught him the Tango. He had never done that before and HE WAS TERRIFIC.
In Another Time and Place: just a nostalgic piece for the more tranquil days of childhood
Save the Rain Forest, Now! : and I'm very serious about this. My song has the sound of an anvil being pounded on to signify man's intrusion into a place HE SHOULD NOT BE.
Jamie's Waltz: Dedicated to my only Grandaughter, Jamie Kushner, born Nove. 25, 1996.
Lullaby to Germany: being of German descent, I wanted to put WW 2 to sleep after the 50th anniversary of the end of that war in 1995.
